Privacy Policy
Sampath Personal Assistant is a private, personal-use application operated by Sampath Koppole. It is not offered as a public service and is available only to Google accounts explicitly authorized by the operator.
Google user data accessed
When an authorized user grants permission, the application may access Gmail profile information, message and thread metadata, message content, and drafts. It may also create drafts and send email when the authenticated user explicitly requests those actions.
How information is used
Google user data is used only to perform tasks requested by the authenticated user, such as locating a conversation, reviewing relevant context, preparing a reply, creating a draft, or sending an approved message. The operator does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or sale.
Processing and sharing
To perform a requested task, relevant information may be processed through Google APIs, local automation on the operator's device, and the AI service selected by the operator. At present, that service may include OpenAI. Information is handled under the applicable terms and privacy controls of those providers. The operator does not sell or rent Google user data and does not disclose it to unrelated third parties.
Storage and retention
OAuth credentials are stored in encrypted form on the operator's device. The application does not intentionally maintain a separate commercial database of Gmail content. Task content, operational logs, drafts, and sent messages may remain in the local environment, the AI service, or the user's Google account according to the applicable service settings and retention periods. Credentials remain available until they expire or are revoked.
Security and user control
Access is limited to authorized accounts and narrowly scoped permissions. Users can revoke access at any time from their Google Account security settings. Revoking access prevents future API access but does not itself remove messages or drafts already stored in Gmail.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Website data
This informational website does not include account registration, advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.
Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the application or applicable requirements. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
